In its third year the Feb. 7-10
Aspen/Snowmass Open gives up-and-coming (and established) skiers and snowboarders a chance to get into the
ESPN Winter X Games Slopestyle and
Superpipe courses to compete for a prize purse of $50,000. And with so much money on the line, you better believe these skiers and riders are putting it all on the table with a whole lot of amped-up 9s, 12s, back flips, and more. Action-sports enthusiasts can expect big performances from locals
Michael Olenick and
Teddy Karlinski, as well as
Sean Field, Mike Hornbeck, and
Henrik Lampert to name a few. It may seem like a mini X Games—but we assure you that when you see these jibbers and jumpers in action, you’ll know they mean business.
