In this segment, Sue visit Kathyrn Fleck's home in Aspen. Inside this standard order Maroon Creek town home is a space that looks more NY city loft than rustic mountain getaway. The home is filled with custom-designed steel, glass, and concrete but the dominant feature of the house is Kathryn's overflowing collection of contemporary art. In many ways, the home was designed as a showcase for Kathryn's art, as well as the perfect access for the ski slopes that are literally right outside her front door.

Homeowner and designer Kristeen Church built this enormous home on the serene bank of Maroon Creek using tons of reclaimed wood and well-worn stone that she had shipped all the way from the East Coast. The result is a magnificent yet cozy mountain retreat.

The need to go green is now, more than ever, a necessity for preserving our environment. In order to reverse the effects of our consumption, everybody must incorporate ecofriendly practices into their everyday lives. We live in a place where the environment is king, and so it is no surprise that Aspen Skiing Company was the first in the ski industry to produce a sustainability report and has received more than 30 awards for their environmental commitment. Recently, the company also launched the Save Snow initiative.
