In its 33rd year the Snowmass Balloon Festival returns to the Roaring Fork horizon Sept. 12-14. Grab your camera as you wont want to miss the 25 colorful hot air balloons (you have to see the one shaped like the energizer bunny) float through the Valley. The action isn’t just in the air though as the accompanying Snowmass Wine Festival boasts a four-course dinner at the Artisan, Sept. 12 (for $125 tickets call 923.4036) as well as Champagne/wine tastings and auctions all day Sept. 14 at the Snowmass Village Mall.
