Aspen

Bob Braudis

Aspen wouldn’t be Aspen without Pitkin County sheriff Bob Braudis, who was elected to the position in 1986. Since that time, Braudis earned such a loyal following that Aspenites abolished sheriff term limits in order to keep him in office as long as he is willing. If you’ve ever seen or met Sheriff Bob, you know that Aspen has a true Wild West sheriff with a heart of gold, which is why he is one of our Plum 98.

What is Plum 98? It¹s a collection of 98 individuals (a nice, round number) who have etched a mark in the Aspen community with positive energy and vision. Be it in the realm of art, recreation or politics, we at Plum want to recognize these local stars for their encouragement and inspiration. To meet more Plum 98ers, click HERE.
