AVSC Freestyle skier Jen Hudak is the Athlete of the Week this week. Hudak was crowned the Halfpipe World Champion at the FIS World Cup Freestyle Championships in Valmanenco, Italy March 15. Hudak, who had battled Canada's Sarah Burke all season long, emerged victorious with a score of 40.20 to Burke's 39.70. Hudak is now the best Halfpipe skier in the World and AVSC's first World Champion. Hudak's coach Elana Chase was excited to see Hudak build on her win at the Nippon Open in Japan and finish the season on top. Congratulations to Jen!
