Since 1991, Jazz Aspen Snowmass (JAS) has been jazzing up the summer season for music lovers throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. With two festivals--one in June and one Labor Day weekend--JAS has brought some of the industries top names to town including Elvis Costello, Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Ben Harper, Neil Young, Sheryl Crow, Tony Bennett, Widespread Panic, and Jack Johnson, to name only a few.
While the JAS June Festival came and went with flying colors, music-enthusiasts can look forward to a stellar lineup at the Labor Day Festival, August 28-September 1, in Snowmass. Not only will Widespread Panic play two (yes, two) nights, but Australian superstar Xavier Rudd, Ziggy Marley, Bob Dylan, John Fogerty, and Yonder Mountain String Band will also hit the stage. In between these headliners, be sure to catch some up-and-coming artists perform on the various stages as this four-day festival boasts nonstop music.
But don’t just take our word for it--purchase your tickets by calling 920-4996 or by checking out www.jazzaspen.org.
