If you're anything like us, you're counting down the days until you'll be knee-deep in powder. But Thanksgiving is still weeks away which means we have some time before we need our skis waxed and our legs in shape. Lucky for us, Aspen Skiing Co.'s third annual The Meeting—a snow-sports film celebration—arrives in Aspen October 4-7 just in time to distract us from our countdown and get us psyched for the snow to fall. This year's festival boasts 12 new film releases, including Poor Boyz most recent release, Yeah Dude, and skiing bad boy Tanner Hall's latest project, Believe. Checkout Rage Films' Enjoy where they search for the perfect conditions and don't miss Mack Dawg's latest snowboard epic, Picture This. In addition to film screenings, expect killer parties with pro skiers and snowboarders, filmmakers, and other industry heavyweights in attendance. Only in Aspen can you share your growing anticipation for the winter season by celebrating with some of biggest names in action sports.Screenings are at Belly Up and The Wheeler Opera House. Tickets are $7 and are on sale at the Belly Up and Wheeler box offices. For a complete schedule and more information, visit www.aspensnowmass.com.
