Calling all actors! It's time to warm up your vocal cords and tap into your dramatic side because Aspen Community Theatre's (ACT) fall auditions are just around the corner. This year's play is She Loves Me, a romantic musical about two European parfumerie clerks in the 1930s who—despite their mutual disdain—unknowingly fall in love with each other through writing letters. After two months of rehearsals, ACT's cast brings this heartwarming performance to the historic Wheeler Opera House stage from November 8 to November 17. Auditions are being held Saturday, September 8 and Sunday, September 9 at The Crystal Palace. Aspiring actors and actresses can try out for 18-24 available roles (visit www.aspencommunitytheatre.com for character descriptions). It doesn't matter if you're a veteran thespian or an acting newbie, ACT is simply looking for the best person for the part.
