Aspen

It's Super Bowl Time!

Courtney Fisher

That’s right, folks--the time is now upon us as Super Bowl XLII kicks off tonight at 4:00 p.m. But if you didn't get ticket to the game, don't worry because you can watch the momentous New York Giants battle the record-breaking New England Patriots at one of Aspen's many watering holes. Throw on your team's colors and head out to one of Plum's favorite Super Bowl-watching venues.

The Hickory House
Not only does the Hick House offer 25-cent wings, half-priced ribs, and plenty of pitcher specials, but patrons can also test their knowledge of useless facts in the restaurant's trivia contest or try their luck at bingo during halftime.

Belly Up
Belly Up's 16-ft. screen has to be the next best thing to actually being at the game. So if you don't have a ticket to the stadium, watch your favorite football rivalries at Aspen's best music venue. Don't worry about going hungry because Belly Up serves 35-cent wings, $8 domestic pitchers, and $6 pizzas sure to satisfy even the hungriest football fan.

The J-Bar
A longtime favorite for watching Monday Night Football is The J-Bar in The Hotel Jerome. Not only is it a great bar with multiple TVs and both domestic beers and microbrews on tap, but it also boasts some of the best burgers in town. Be prepared to root for your team loudly—the crowd at the J-Bar can get rowdy.

Cooper Street Pier
Monday Night Football at Cooper Street is synonymous with great grub, pitchers, and a whole lot of trash-talking. Throw on your jersey and head over to this locals' favorite watering hole to watch the game and keep yourself entertained with a game of shuffleboard at halftime.
