Aspen

Service in the Sky

The View

One of our favorite holiday traditions has to be the Aspen Mountain Easter Sunday Sunrise Service March 22 at 8:30 a.m. Led by Gregg Anderson and Cynthia Bourgeault, this nondenominational service features live music from local artists including John Sommers, J.D Martin, and Mack Bailey and the Limeliters. We recommend making a morning of it by heading up early on the Silver Queen Gondola which will begin running at 7 a.m. Use your season ski pass, day lift tickets, or purchase $15 foot passes to make your way up to the 11,212 ft. service and indulge in a delicious pancake breakfast at the Sundeck. So if you're looking for a memorable way to celebrate this Easter holiday, make your way up Aspen Mountain, and whether you choose to ski down or simply download on the gondola--we promise, you won't regret it.
