What Do You Want to Be When You Grow Up?

Careers in Sports Panel Discussion

A professional skier, snowboarder, world traveler? Whether you’re young or old—it’s never too late to be inspired about your career path. This afternoon the youths of Aspen, along with five professionals in the sports industry (everyone from athletes to broadcasters) gathered in Aspen Elementary School for a panel discussion about careers in sports. The event—which was put together by ESPN X Games and moderated by Aspen Daily News’ sports editor Jon Bastian—explored the theory that doing what you love will undoubtedly lead to success. We were inspired, so it seemed necessary to share some of our favorite moments from this unique event with you. Check out the slideshow below and be sure to leave a comment and tell us what you want to be when (if ever) you grow up.
