Dear Mr. Isaacson: The last time I wrote a 'fan' letter was to Walter Farley gushing about his "Black Stallion" series. Since this was circa l960 you might guess that I was profoundly affected by your book on Einstein. Your scientific explanations were clear, your sense of history and place quite marvelous. Best of all was the way you focused on the paradoxes of his life in both the scientific and personal realms. Since I was a little girl I've been intrigued by this man who reminded me so much of my grandfather, and I had always wished I'd known him. Thank you so much for givng me that opportunity at last!
